Mega Enterprises was incorporated in the year 2015 and began its operation by bagging sub contract works from KSS Petron. The nature job was land development with dredged earthen filling covering an area of around 100 acres inside Ennor Port where IOCL for putting up the Rs.5000 crores LNG terminal. The job was executed to the utmost quality standards set forth by Black & Veatch the principal contractor to IOCL. The total value of work is around Rs.62 million. The success story continued with firm securing mechanical and civil jobs from various clients and in the process established itself as a reliable and quality conscious construction firm.
Another major project valued at Rs.42 million for construction of residential staff quarters for IOCL staff was also handed over to the client on completion.
The company forayed in to Operation and Maintenance of CPCL Desalination plant by successfully bagging an order from M/s Ion Exchange for Rs.90 million. This contract was valid for two years and has been completed to the satisfaction of the client.
Presently the company is executing a project for Chennai Metro Water Board under sub contract to NTC Infra for a value of Rs.390 million. This project is planned for completion by December 2021. Major components of the project include 50LL Over Head Tank among the biggest in Tamil Nadu in terms of capacity, and Supplying and laying of nearly 100km of DI piping network covering the suburb of Madipakkam South Chennai.
The company achieved a turnover of INR14.00 Cr. (approx.) for the last year and for the next financial year the turnover is would be around Rs.25.00 Cr.
